Adaptable Fires for Full Spectrum Operations
Fort Sill, Oklahoma

The 2010 Fires Seminar will be held at the Reimer Conference Center
at the Fires Center of Excellence, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, from
17-21 May 2010. Preceding these events is the BCD Conference
which occurs on 14 May by invitation only.

Our theme is “Adaptable Fires for Full Spectrum Operations"

Registration during 1-14 April 2010 is only available for active duty, DoD, Reserve,
Guard, and FA and ADA retired General Officers. General registration opens
15 April 2010 for everyone, including contractors as space is available.

Invitees are both Active and Reserve Components Army FA and ADA and
Marine FA senior leaders, and brigade-level and higher commanders
and nominative command sergeants major; other Army leaders; Fires
representatives from the joint community; and allied representatives.

This year’s seminar is unique in that it combines both ADA and FA branches.
The seminar will include presentations from key leaders as well as industry
displays with vendors who will be available for visits and questions.

The main seminar agenda will kick off with an icebreaker social on the
evening of Monday 17 May, with the seminar itself being conducted
on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 18, 19 and 20 May 2010.
The seminar will end in the early afternoon on 21 May. Attendees are
invited and will be transported to the dedication of the First to Fire
Statue on Wednesday 19 May 2010 and the FA Museum's unveiling of
the Artilleryman Statue and Memorialization of the late General Donald
Keith on Thursday 20 May 2010."

Registration closes 10 May 2010.

Monday 17 May – Although not a part of the Fires Seminar, AUSA will be hosting a golf tournament at the Fort Sill Golf Course. If you are interested in signing up for the tournament please contact Jack Donohue at donohueje@aol.com. NOT OFFICIALLY ENDORSED.

Tuesday 18 May 1730 – Cocktails begin at 1700. USFAA General Membership Meeting and Musical Tattoo of
MG (R) Leo Baxter. Artillery Room Patriot Club. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. NO CHARGE.

Wednesday 19 May 1730 – First to Fire Statue Dedication, Bldg 1611. Bus transportation available from Snow Hall, Patriot Club and Fort Sill Welcome and Conference Center.

Thursday 20 May 1730 – Dedication of The Field Artilleryman Statue to Fort Sill in honor of the US Field Artillery Association's 100th Anniversary immediately following dedication of the Field Artillery Museum structure as General Donald R. Keith Hall. Bus transportation available from Snow Hall, Patriot Club and Fort Sill Welcome and Conference Center. Field Artillery Museum, 238 Randolph Road.
